The BA Journalism course at Sheffield Hallam University has been ranked ninth best course in the country in the 2016 Guardian university guide.
The course has risen five places in the past year and is now third best for satisfaction with teaching.
Lily Canter, Subject Group Leader for Journalism said: “We have continued to climb the league table year on year and with our 93 per cent National Student Survey rating we are able to demonstrate that we are one of the best journalism courses in the country and we are dedicated to our inspiring and talented students.”
Brian Tweedale, head of department for Media, Arts and Communication added: “This is excellent news and a reward for all the hard work the teams have invested in their students and their courses.”
The ninth place ranking also includes the BA Public Relations course at SHU.
